Changing Your Network Password
This tutorial will assist you when you need to change your network password. It is important to note that if you feel someone else may know your password, change it immediately. Do not make your password too easy to hack (guess). For example, do not make your password your first name, or a pet’s name, a spouse or one of your children’s name. Those are the first “guesses” someone makes when trying to steal your password. Choose a combination of letters and numbers. If you feel someone is using your password contact the system administrator. You may also want to print these instructions for future reference.
While logged into the network, hold Ctrl, Alt, and press Delete to open up the Windows Security window.
Choose Change Password
Enter your old password, your desired password, and then re-enter your desired password for confirmation.
After clicking OK, a window will appear with the results.
