I.D.A.A
Institute for drug and
alcohol awareness

Drugs destroy millions of lives every year — too often the lives of
children upon whom our future depends. In a world where more
money is spent on drugs than on food, it can be difficult to
convince others to just say “no.” Society owes a debt of
gratitude to anyone working to salvage others from the harmful
effects of drug abuse. Standing by and doing nothing about the
drug problem only helps those who profit from its spreading. But
working together, we can succeed in educating others to
the real dangers of drugs. And it is in that spirit this website
has been produced for I.D.A.A |

How to get
into I.D.A.A
At the beginning
of every year, 7th and 8th graders are able to try out for I.D.A.A. The try-outs
involve writing an essay stating reasons that you would like to be an
I.D.A.A. member, memorizing some skit dialogue, and going through a personal
interview by the ID.A.A. advisor. There are tryouts
twice in the first nine weeks of school.
