          Teach three new notes-F, E, D.  Hand out “Minor Tunes” song sheet and rehearse/play.  Talk about practicing strategies.

5th grade

          Talk about bones of the body.  Hand out Skeletal Scramble.  Explain that each measure it one letter of the bones name.  If the letter is in the musical alphabet, the note clue is given, if it is not in the musical alphabet, the measure is blank.  Solve the names of the bones.
