Mrs. Barb Paxson
Barbara Paxson- Cross Categorical Teacher
Mrs. Paxson is a native of Indiana and a graduate of St. Francis College in Ft. Wayne where she received a Bachelor's Degree in 1968 and a Master's Degree in 1970. Barbara and Walter, her husband of 41 years, live on Sugar Creek Rd., just south of Bluffton. They have five grown children and have raised 19 foster children, with one foster boy living with them presently. Barbara has taught 3rd grade in Indiana and 1st and 2nd grades at Allen East. She substituted at Bluffton, Delphos, Bath , and Allen East while obtaining her MH, LD, and SBH special education degrees. She taught special education at Marimore for 11 years and currently serves as the Cross Categorical Teacher at Bluffton. She enjoys bowling, watching movies, and playing with her thirteen grandchildren.
