70% PROJECT POINTS:

 Project points are awarded on a rubric, which includes part or all of the following criteria:

 

Time on Task

 

Attention to Detail

 

Use of Tools and Materials

Neatness

 

Creativity

 

 

Any missing projects are recorded as a “0”.

10%    PARTICIPATION POINTS: Participation points are awarded in these five areas:

 

Cooperation- Gets along well with classmates, volunteers to assist those who need assistance, etc.

 

 

Follows rules.

 

20% FINAL EXAM

You are responsible to make up missed work.

Because art is a creative activity, the structure of the classroom is more flexible, but because Middle School Art is also an activity that requires a great deal of concentration and control, there are certain rules that apply.
