Mrs. Boehr lives and works in Bluffton as a published illustrator and teacher. She received her B.A. in Art Education,  K-12,   from Bluffton College and her M.Ed. from Wright State University.   She has been teaching in the Bluffton Schools since 1999.   She teaches elementary and middle school art. Prior to Bluffton, she taught elementary art part-time at Ada for thirteen years. She has also team-taught as an adjunct professor of education at Bluffton College.

Mrs. Boehr continues to illustrate career education packets for Ohio Dept. of Education, in her spare time. Her hobbies include calligraphy, restoring her historic home and singing in church choir. Her husband, Jeff, is employed by Bluffton University, and they are the parents of two boys, Jacob, and Micah.
