- The Card Catalog is located on the study carrel directly in front of the
door.
- Students can use this to locate books in the library.

- The reference books are located directly to the left of the main
entrance.
- These books include: encyclopedias, dictionaries, and other non-fiction
books which give specific facts.

- Oversized non-fiction books are located at the back right of the room,
just in front of the regular non-fiction books.
- They are arranged in numerical order according to the Dewey Decimal
System.

- Nonfiction call numbers are located on the lower spine of the book.
- These call numbers consist of a number with decimals, and the first
three letters of the author’s last name.

- The Newspaper rack is on the
right side of the room next to the office.
- This is where all of the current newspapers are. They are very useful in keeping up to
date about current events in our area.

- The atlas case is located on the right wall of the library (directly
next to the filing cabinet).
- These books give facts about any country in the world.
- The oversized, unabridged dictionary is also found here.

- These books are located on the second shelf from the back at the left
corner of the library.
- These include: The Dear America, My
Name is America, Royal Diaries, and Choose Your Own Adventure series.

- Fiction books have call numbers located on the bottom spine of the book.
- Fiction books only have letters in their call numbers (the first three
letters of the author’s last name).
- The fiction books are located behind the special series fiction in the
left corner of the library

- The book drop is located at the front desk, on the right side of the
library
- This is where one can return books after reading them.
