I grew up in the small community of Hicksville in northwest Ohio.  I graduated from Hicksville High School (Go Aces!!) in 1991.  I then  received my Bachelor's of Education degree from  the University of Toledo (Go Rockets!!) in 1995.  I recently completed my Master's of Education at Bluffton University (Go Beavers!!). I taught 5 years at Ridgemont High School (Go Gophers!!) in Ridgeway, Ohio.  This is my eighth year teaching at Bluffton Middle School (Go Pirates!!)

My wife, Chanda, and I currently live in Alger Ohio.  We have a 5 year-old daughter (Celia) and 1 year old twins (Avery and Trevor).
