I. Brochure (60 points)
A. Design a travel brochure
in Spanish to attract tourists to the Spanish-
speaking country you have selected. You must include the following
categories:
1. Geographic location w/small map
2. Climate
3. Important tourist spots
4. Hotel accommodations
5. Important restaurants/Foods
6. Culture
7. Unit of Money
8. Kinds of credit cards accepted
Some other
possible categories you could include in addition might be
transportation, population, vaccinations, electric voltage set-up,
and "hot"
shopping spots/great buys.
B. The brochure must be
completed on construction paper or white paper. Line
notebook paper will not be accepted. It can be printed by hand in ink or
marker, or it can be typed as long as it is clear and neat.
II. Oral Report (40 points)
A. Imagine that as a travel
agent, you had the opportunity to visit the
country you are promoting in your brochure. You have come back from your
trip and have prepared a presentation for a group of fellow travel agents
in Spanish. Here is what you are to include.
1. Discuss 3 cities that you visited.

2. In general, what foods did you eat that were special to that
