Kara received her music education degree from Taylor University in Upland, IN and a Masters of Music degree in vocal performance from BGSU.
High School Concert Choir: The Bluffton High School Concert Choir is a choir open to any student who shows the desire and discipline to achieve musical skills. The goal of High School Concert choir is to build musical skills through understanding the vocal mechanisms, using correct singing habits, performing a variety of literature, singing with expression, performing with instruments or alone, developing sight singing abilities, developing skills to identify, define and record musical notation, and developing skills in evaluating music and performances.

Center Stage Show Choir: The Bluffton High School Show Choir is a select group of students who represent the school positively through performances. High standards are placed on these students to achieve musical skills, musicality, performance skills, stage presence, and group cohesiveness.
