You are a Budding Biologist!

 I hope that you find inspiration this year in me or in this class to possibly explore a career in science. I promise to make this year fun (while we work) and for you to experience different science career options.

This year you will take on the various roles of a:

botanist- a person that studies plants

chemist- a person that studies chemical reactions and chemical properties                     

zoologist- a person that studies animals

taxonomist- a person that studies the classification of living things

bacteriologist- a person that studies bacteria

microbiologist- a person that studies microorganisms

science teacher- a person that teaches others about the wonderful world of science

ecologist- a person that studies the interactions of organisms with their environment 

physiologist- a person that studies how the body works

geneticist- a person that studies genetics

dendrologist- a person that studies trees
