Accelerated Algebra II

    This course is an extension of the topics covered in Algebra I and Geometry. Topics that are included are: real numbers, properties of polynomials, exponentials, relations, graphing in a plane, solving equations with one or more variables, and complex numbers. In addition, matrices, determinants, conic sections, statistics, logarithms, and trigonometry will be studied.

    At the recommendation of the instructor, the more talented Algebra student will move at a faster pace with more in depth study of many topics.

    In this Accelerated Algebra II course, the student will need to have a graphing calculator. See instructor before buying. The students in this course will also be encouraged, and expected, to participate in numerous mathematics competitions.
